SueH Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Hot off the press. Somerleyton Wednesday 29 March 2017. Article 50 day. Looks like they are operational if the lights are anything to go by. Unfortunately we haven't got any of the new cards to do the ultimate test! Will have to get our old ones swapped before our next trip on 22 April. SueH Quote

Hopefully by then we should have some of the elusive cards. Regards Alan Quote
SueH Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Update: Reedham still covered in black bin bags and still lots of no mooring signs everywhere. Hardly Mill back and appear to be live. Rockland Dyke greatly improved socket back and appears to be live. Didn't go down to Loddon to check. SueH Quote
Matt Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Official update: Over the last month we have carried out essential upgrades to the meters at the points and work is now almost complete. After installing and programming the last few sites all Broads Authority electric charging points will be open to the public for use by Friday 31 March. We apologise for any inconvenience. New, contactless cards will be available through all the usual outlets. (Previous cards are all printed with 28 February 2017 as the cut-off date.) The meters indicate where to hold your card in order to transfer the credit to the meter. The cards are for single use only. Quote
vanessan Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 SueH - did the Hardley Mill posts look like new ones? It was only during the last couple of weeks that Richard (from Hardley Mill Trust) was going to contact the BA to see if their posts could be included in the 'upgrade'. That was my understanding anyway. Hopefully it has all fallen into place. Quote
