Yesterday we left home in Cambridgeshire early afternoon to go to our daughter's in North London as that night she was throwing a big party to celebrate her 60th birthday. It was held at a local golf club. We had a brilliant time. It was so good to see faces from yesteryear. Friends from her school, teens early work days etc. a real trip down memory lane. A few were staying over as were we and others turned up this morning and a lovely high spirited brunch was enjoyed by us all after which we headed home to recuperate!
