Southwold Harbour Pontoon

Southwold harbour now has it's new floating pontoon up and running as well as the wifi working again, the new pontoon is on the walberwick side opposite the harbour office.

Always best to give them a call first as it does get busy in there but it never ceases to amaze me just how accomodating Peter and Jerry always are.

Southwold is a great harbour, Peter and Jerry will always help out and run the harbour very well. Fuel is available from a pump on the harbour wall near the lifeboat station. Contact the harbour office on channel 12 . Dave R....

We took 'B.A' there once for a weekend.  Had a great time, enjoyed it very much

There is no water or electricity on the new Walberswick pontoon as yet that may come in the future. My southwold mooring is

just 100 yards upstream from the new visitors moorings on the walberswick bank. Dave R.......

Nice to hear, this is something else to look forward to with the new boat in time - though the pub was bloody dear if I remember rightly.

If you moor on the Walberswick side pontoon you have the option of two good pubs in Walberswick just a 10 minute walk away.
