Plenty of wild mink around, we saw a mink terrorise and kill a young rabbit once, I  didn't know rabbits squeeled that much. Not a pretty sight or sound.

I knew a keeper in Chorleywood when I was young who could do a rabbit in distress. He could "squeek" a fox into range of a shotgun when unable to use a rifle.

I wonder how many times he got shot at by mistake lol...

 

When I worked in Minnesota, a bylaw was you were not allowed to shoot from a moving vehicle into the scrub at the side of the freeway.

Implying... you could stop your vehicle and do it though...

In the local walmart you could pick up ammunition like buying biscuits.
