I'm in the process of planning a new galley for my ship and would rather like to replace my free standing cooker the with the built in hob and oven type. Does anyone have any links to suppliers of LPG versions of these. My setup uses Propane by way

Thanks David, The sort I am looking for is more like the type you would have in your kitchen, with the hob sunk into the worktop and the oven built into the front of a unit.

The old free standing cooker is in perfect working order, but the plan is to extend the worktop right back to the patio doors and have the hob/oven built in, should look very smart me thinks.

That would look good Jim, perhaps one of the Smev combined built in 4 burner hob and sink units would look good let into some corian.

Go to B+Q get a 1100 base unit, a 500 drawline unit, a bit of worktop and a new sink, Keep your cooker and save a packet

Where the sink bowl is now, I plan to have one of those full size fridges under. So the new sink will have to be rotated and have the drainer forward towards the helm.

Very tempting Clive! I will sell the existing cooker and fridge, so that will help fund the project a fair bit, so not all is lost

Just make sure the cooker you get is certified for inland waterway use Jim, otherwise the BSS could prove an issue.

Thats a fancy bit of kit Barry, but at 1100 mm wide, it would take up half of the worktop
