Guest Oiler
Hi, NBF seems to be down again. I gave a weather alert last night about a possible storm surge expected this Thursday. I am now raising the status of that alert to EXPECTED rather than just possible i.e Orange alert. Those with boats may wish to make sure they are tied up well and good with enough slack to allow for flood levels. Those with properties at risk of flooding remove valuables from ground floor. It MAY not be to bad but better safe than sorry. I am trying to give you a little advance time to make/plan these arrangements. The surge of around 2 meters looks like reaching the Thames Estuary from the forecast charts. Yorkshire Coast, possible wind gusts of 80 mph. I will post this on NBF as well if Richard's hamster wakes up. Rgs Dick
Jim
Thanks Dick, Lucky I'm in Trowse tomorrow morning so methinks a check over Ferry Marina might not be a bad idea Welcome aboard mate
