Called in today with Mrs N. I believe that it was run by the same punter who has the lease on the Rising Sun. 

However a lovely couple appear to be in charge. They are now doing grub (Sunday menu attached but gives an idea) only one GK beer on fortunately but the Humpty Dumpty Little Sharpie was on excellent form. Prices were extremely reasonable. If the guy behind the bar is running the pub then it will do very well IMHO.

Dog friendly, it really does tick the boxes. Very impressed.
