Paul Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I note that the New Inn are having their Halloween Party tomorrow, Fri 20th. One of our locals are having their Bonfire Night on Saturday, 21st. Is it just me, or is this "spreading" of dates all getting a bit daft? Quote
Daddy Mouse Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 It gets worse every year. Bonfire night is still 2 weeks away and every shop has Christmas decorations in. But it's our fault for buying the stuff earlier and earlier. If the seasonal stuff in the shops was not purchased 2 months early the shops would not waste space with it until nearer the time. Quote
Wonderwall Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I'm going to delay my next birthday, by 5 years 1 Quote
NorfolkNog Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Probably. Is this the Horning New Inn? Does seem a bit strange but if a pub can get the punters in, that sounds good to me. I'm spreading my birthday over 10 days in December 2 Quote
Chelsea14Ian Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 It's my guess because Halloween falls midweek they are having it today. Ian Quote
JamesLV Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Coincidentally technically the beginning of half term as well? Though I’d probably have waited for Saturday... Quote
