But isnt that gap for passing bacon rolls through?  That’s definitely the design feature that was in Chloe Jane or are sailies that different?

Sailies are different Sam. The planks are narrower so we tend to have bacon sandwiches instead

Going by that air gap you could have a doorstep sandwich:default_norty:

Actually I am questioning whether we can go on sanding and smoothing and go back to varnish as she was originally.

....  or Deks Olje,  even, it has lasted years on our dinghy.

Ah as you were, Deks Olje and caulking are not happy together.

So varnish... that would be Brava from what I have seen.

We will be in the market for sanding serfs at some point no doubt, ‘genteel’ bacon sandwiches provided. :default_biggrin:

Brava -  Yes, full strength but only for the final coat (Number six)

The five prior to that should be Ravalakk increasing the mix strength as you go

Six? :default_icon_eek:

Are we trying to keep the weight down?

Griff is a big believer in reducing weight on a saily; witness removing the not too heavy outboard on a 4 ton boat on the 3RR :default_eusa_dance:
