Hmmm ... Muse ... that is acceptable on this occasion ... but don't make a habit of it!!

I nearly sent you The Osmonds Down By The Lazy River ... but I thought that really would be showing my age.

:default_biggrin:

Don't you worry about it Mrs SR, I am interested in all music and would like to known what sort of music is of interest to people

It helps me out a lot if people tell me what they like, and what they would like to see, after all, I'm here and lots of people aren't so what is it that you think you are missing in the winter?

Tell me and I'll try and show it to you

Now, Grace and I have agreed that we aren't talking about football tonight, it has been forbidden, a long standing agreement.

I never break a promise and so Grace and I are not talking about it so  I would just like to reassure my little gorgeous girl that just as agreed we won't be talking about football at all tonight, after all we have much better things to talk about.

I am certainly not going to boast or brag about something like beating a mid table side to her.......

But sticking this post in my blog doesn't count as talking about it does it Grace? :default_party0010:

So we can now forget all about the football babe, seeing as we haven't spoken about the football at all :default_smiley-angelic002:

It's alright laughing Jean but when she gets back from her parents I will be in trouble, and at that time I'll remind her who it was who said that I wasn't mentioning it, and who it was that found the predictable result funny :default_smiley-angelic002:

My husband has gone down the town to get papers at the moment, however he was crowing about the result of the recent Spurs match ( I'm a Spurs supporter he an Arsenal)c I take very little interest in football and so did not know about this stuffing the Arsenal got - just wait till he returns!!!

I'm not mentioning THAT game, the game we're not supposed to be talking about, you know the Liverpool v Arsenal game, the game in which Arsenal were very unlucky and robbed, the ref was clearly from Liverpool :default_biggrin:

Whilst we are on the subject of not mentioning things, Jay did not drop the turkey on Christmas day, no he definitely did not :default_biggrin:

Carlsberg has that honour, as you alluded to in your post.

You beer snobs would hate it, but at 1030 in the morning, it was pretty good :default_biggrin:

Incidentally, everywhere I went on my pre Christmas trip the Rocking Rudolph was going down very well. I steered my sleigh well away personally but it it seemed to be popular

I'm so so sorry babe, I just don't know how we managed to scrap those 5 goals past your defence last night. The ref was obviously a disgrace and we deserved nothing at all from the game.

You know how I love those football nights though, laid on the settee, watching my girl in my football shirt.

Ok things didn't go quite as planned last night, but I enjoyed the footy result anyway :default_norty:

I didn't drop it, I just slid it off of the shelf and it popped onto the shelf below, losing all of the juices I was going to use :default_smiley-taunt014:

Anyway, if you didn't spend all the time sat on your delectable little bottom enjoying yourself you could always lend a hand.

You know how much I love waiting on you hand and foot but those nails won't break themselves you know. :default_icon_kiss:

I didn't drop it, I slid it uncontrolled and as I remember you just asked for the wine. Your bottom remained firmly on that lucky seat :default_icon_luvlove:

Saturday 29th December

I set off from home in the rain at around 0730 knowing the boat wouldn't be ready but wanting to try and avoid the peak traffic as best as I could.20181229_073303.thumb.jpg.4488003186dea7a558180cf65267178c.jpg

The journey was as uneventful as ever but I did manage to avoid the farm machinery, car transporters etc that have plagued my journey of late.

I arrived at Brundall around 1015, all secure and locked up tight so by the time I had remembered codes it was almost 1030 when I parked up beside the boat.

After a brief walk with the dog down the riverside estate it had ticked over past 1100 so it seemed rude to not give The Yare pub my custom and so I popped in for a cheeky early dinner pint....

Or two20181229_111818.thumb.jpg.97abc6f8f362f668f99dd1e893a28bd1.jpg

Once finished we headed back to the boat, dumped my belongings where they fell and fired up the engine. It was time to get back to cruising the rivers once more. Well it's been 2 weeks :default_smiley-angelic002:

With such a late 1400 start I headed off down the river Yare in the patchy December sunshine. 20181229_135033.thumb.jpg.5256978a03b87f5538501e58b6b7f32b.jpg20181229_140533.thumb.jpg.0814c26d94efdaa54d59abdda1ccd2e4.jpg

It was surprisingly busy, as I passed a fishing boat and 2 private cruisers along the way.20181229_140543.thumb.jpg.6c5800a6e4f61048dae9c0d29b16c0d3.jpg20181229_141141.thumb.jpg.40967bd421a6e0a346a5217b072504de.jpg20181229_141824.thumb.jpg.245f1916f72f5e58472643ae8b75a2d6.jpg20181229_141901.thumb.jpg.1b4a380349cb7f2a353c6d85a7f59772.jpg20181229_142903.thumb.jpg.32a581ee396b74daaffeb722c0314558.jpg20181229_143325.thumb.jpg.7e20c21f37bc42d1e878f2cad72fc3ff.jpg20181229_143634.thumb.jpg.9990e4dc57d5d93f9ae0c56c2a541bb5.jpg20181229_144519.thumb.jpg.477e646b98d1d2f1a0b612da9276b7df.jpg

It was around 1500 when I reached Cantley, but I continued on down the Yare.20181229_150152.thumb.jpg.8187200aaa334ff5536ecc81edada01e.jpg20181229_150631.thumb.jpg.766b44e21a2e6d1d201d6b1665e5d837.jpg20181229_150700.thumb.jpg.bad2cd23d4fe1938de2592b21bc527a4.jpg20181229_151110.thumb.jpg.c29131966929167d3679ba5dc0a343ef.jpg20181229_151243.thumb.jpg.a5af5b2d543b891310a88ba3411c2636.jpg20181229_151453.thumb.jpg.e54044ddf2502ebd8b5cda66f73c6f96.jpg20181229_151500.thumb.jpg.fa766b0641be3c7d8c507ea695055aff.jpg20181229_151711.thumb.jpg.d2246c30044a36cd0c89cb5934e41851.jpg20181229_152332.thumb.jpg.eeaf684285399f7453bc5c414f592414.jpg20181229_152459.thumb.jpg.563058b591a2c6599d7a0e50b4c0118c.jpg20181229_153042.thumb.jpg.75dcc4675021247a717d2acf7f0717e7.jpg20181229_153321.thumb.jpg.cc8f69294e3f901132b92c91d19e3c1f.jpg20181229_153723.thumb.jpg.aef1927475a19e08365bd5a07702b059.jpg

As I reached Reedham at around 1600 it was almost empty, as I expected and I decided that seeing as Sunday I had planned (I know, me, having a plan :default_biggrin:) to go t'up north it was a convenient stop for the night.

Once moored up, the dog and I (the dog being my little 4 legged friend, not Grace, she tells me off if I call her that) had a walk and eventually found ourselves in the pub.

Funny how things happen :default_smiley-angelic002:20181229_164714.thumb.jpg.ce31929c7d0d1ce92aec35ec566b57d4.jpg

After a swift pint or two :default_icon_liar: watching my red men embarrass some other team who's name I forget, we headed back to the boat, and it wasn't long after that I fell asleep, on the settee, dreaming of things I really shouldn't :default_smiley-angelic002:20181229_162349.thumb.jpg.11c50707eece180acd3ba01e74984acc.jpg

Corr I photograph a lot of crap don't I :default_biggrin:
