Well they said it was a toughie but the scores were high and the race a close one. Bern (Retired) won on 16 points, Nik O  was second on 13 Steve O and Tigerhawk were joint third on 10, Chameleon 9 and Grendel 8  so well done, and thanks to everyone who came in.

After a close-fought battle, Bern was the winner with 11 points, Tigerhawk second on 10 and with NikO and FairTmiddlin tying for 3rd place on 8.

Bern will be in the chair next Friday, so hopefully we will see lots of you then.

After Steve's great quiz last week I have decided this week to do something slightly different.

There will be two rounds of twenty questions with a break after question 20. 

All are general knowledge and all have been taken from quiz's I have set over the last five years!

Last nights quiz had four people in joint third place, and a tie break for first between TigerHawk and SteveO.  The winner of that was SteveO but as he is otherwise engaged next week TigerHawk will be in the hot seat.

Sorry I find it increasingly difficult to deal with people swearing all the time. In my mind damn, bloody and bugger are swearing. I will no longer be taking part in the Friday night quiz as I appear to have been seen as being harsh for asking the member to "keep a lid on it"

I am breaking my self imposed rule and making a post. Bern, who it seems to me, has been a long standing respected member and supporter in many ways, makes a statement and no-one who was involved tonight expresses any interest.
