yeah, we have been that price since the start of last season (or before)

we did consider putting it up but  we like to be best value.

when i see my boats filling up elsewhere at £1.20 I am always a little puzzled but not overly bothered!

always happy to welcome visitors ,

My first post so please be gentle.

Unleaded prices on Southern Rivers update:

Brooms £1.55 /l on 31st July 2018. Pump out £18 / water £2

Waveney River Centre no longer supply when we visited on 2nd August 2018

Hope that's helpful

Ian

Yes I was referring to unleaded petrol. Brooms sounds expensive but the fuel station on the A47 roundabout in Brundall wanted £1.349 /l which seemed pretty steep given their economies of volume. The same day Sainsburys in Thorpe were selling at £1.249 /l

The shell garage at brundall is only just cheaper than motorway service stations. I never understood why they are so expensive.

Hi take it if you hire a boat the fuel deposit and price is based on the fuel price of the hire company that you choose. Brooms at Brundall appears a tad more expensive.

Would this be the case. I can understand the rational for giving people a full tank etc, but then cost is taken at the price per litre of the company you hire the vessel from.

Wondering why Brooms is more expensive. Is it to do with access, delivery charges or .............

Called at Brooms yesterday; was told they stopped selling unleaded petrol last November. Fortunately I didn't need fuel.

I don't know of any petrol availability river side on the Southern rivers now. Seems its now jerry cans or paddle.

Hello Helian,

Not only did they stop selling petrol last year but the petrol pump has been removed from the fuel station, so just one diesel pump now.

Regards

Alan

So I observed, and that's what prompted my question to them!
