Cockatoo Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Tomorrow we are starting 2 weeks on Ranworth Breeze. This will be the first time I've ever spent longer than a short break or one week holiday on the Broads. We plan to spend a week down South and then head North for the spring meet. The weather forecast looks reasonable, the tides ok for a trip north although we will have to head back a bit early. Bring it on ? 8 Quote

Cockatoo Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 Sorry I've been a bit slack with the pictures and stuff but here we are moored tonight at the Ferry Inn Last night we were at Loddon. When we get somewhere with a decent 4G signal I’ll upload more pics 5 Quote

I am looking forward to more pictures of your adventures and your presence at the forum meet. Regards Alan 1 Quote
Cockatoo Posted May 11, 2018 Author Posted May 11, 2018 I just woke up to another beautiful day ? As usual at the start of a holiday I have an itchy a#*e and can't stay in one place too long but luckily Deb's send to be catching it e.g. yesterday we arrived at Norwich Yacht Station with plans to stay the night. While we were eating a late lunch in the Compleat Angler we decided it was too early to moor for the night so we headed back here via a stop at Whitlingham to put the canopy back up and have a short siesta. Plans for the day? None other than relax and see where the river takes us ? 4 Quote
grendel Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 better than mine- mine are 9.00 training until 3pm, then work until 5pm then head straight for Norfolk to work on Tims Boat - at least on the bright side Norfolk is in there somewhere for the weekend Quote

Hylander Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 We passed you near to Hardley Mill this morning. Quote
Cockatoo Posted May 12, 2018 Author Posted May 12, 2018 And now we are headed north. We got to Reedham and the high tide seemed very low so ai rang GT Yarmouth Yacht Station and they advised that this afternoos low tide was probably going to be lower than forecast so we went to the Berney Arms and rang them an hour before low water. The clearance then was 10ft so we went for it. VID_20180512_134323.mp4 VID_20180512_134323.mp4 VID_20180512_140017.mp4 1 Quote
