Springsong Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Morning all This maybe of interest to some of you. You of course don't have to go by car you can always drop the weight and listen to the music over the water. In the past it has been a good evenings entertainment. I have never tried to post a PDF so I hope this works. Proms on the Pier NBYC1 (1).pdf Quote
TheQ Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 it comes up with "this attachment is not available", try this one. https://www.nbyc.co.uk/proms-on-the-pier-nbyc-80th-anniversary/ Quote
vanessan Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 That sounds great and anybody moored nearby would have a prime position. Not that there is much mooring in close proximity! However, sound carries well across water and would possibly be heard at Salhouse too, albeit not quite as loud. Be nice to moor on the broad and wine and dine with a band laid on. Quote
TheQ Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 I notice it's for NBCY's 80th Birthday, that means several other clubs are 80 this year. Horning Town Sailing Club for instance was founded in 1913, but closed down as part of the formation of NBYC and several Horning Trophies ended up at NBYC. However very shortly after Horning Sailing club and some other clubs were refounded in 1938. Sounds a good do, but I doubt I can make it.. Quote
