w44nty
I remember the old days very well,as a young lad I used to watch the ships in the river, loading scrap from Archie Kings, unloading wood at Jewsons,Flour at Reads and coal at the coalyards . I also used to watch to see them turning around in the turning basin, now that was helmsmanship, inches to spare. With the new bridges across the Wensum, the Port of Norwich will never be again
Guest
All the new Bridges do open, it's just the old "opening" ones (like Trowse) that are now a problem.
