Fishing Season

I fear that you wouldn't be allowed to do that, as it amounts to anchoring in the navigation.

Well we did it on 'B.A' just used two mudweights to close parallel the reed bank and kept the river clear.  Plenty of other sections on the river have moorings both sides of the bank, look at the Ant around Ludham and that's much narrower than the Bure at St Benets.  We have also done the same at the southern entrance to Barton Broad with no issues or restricting navigation too

If it's full is it possible to drop fore and aft mudweights close to the reeds on the opposite bank? Is that safe or is the flow too strong there? Anyone done it?

Yes it is, Yes it is, No it isn't, Yes we have

Hope that helps,

Griff

.....or maybe I will.
