Is that safe or is the flow too strong there? Anyone done it? BroadAmbition Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 I fear that you wouldn't be allowed to do that, as it amounts to anchoring in the navigation. Well we did it on 'B.A' just used two mudweights to close parallel the reed bank and kept the river clear. Plenty of other sections on the river have moorings both sides of the bank, look at the Ant around Ludham and that's much narrower than the Bure at St Benets.
