Taxi From Brundall To Hoveton

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We've been lucky enough to get two weeks together on Lightning starting next Saturday.

We are hoping to be in Hoveton for the weekend of the 13th - 15th when one of our friends will be joining us for our second week.

Can anybody recommend a taxi firm from our home base in Brundall to Hoveton.

thanks

Roy

When we hired from Swancraft we used a firm from Blofield - I think it's called Blofield cars or similar. Sorry it's been a while and I can't find their card. They were good and reasonable. Google may find them.

Which day/time were you looking for , as we will be travelling down that weekend so maybe able to give you a lift dependant on times .

It's Thunder that is now based in Horning, same sort of boat. I have no connection, just been looking into the various syndicates recently...

You can always hop on the train to Norwich then change for Brundall.

If it was myself I would do just that, especially as I have a Railcard.

But its my friend who will be joining us and he gets too excited at being on Lightning to spend best part of an hour on two trains, as he will have already been travelling for five and a half hours when he gets to Brundall.

Apologise age seems to be getting the better of me lately.

We used Horning Taxis 01692 630856 on Saturday and found them very helpful.

We've been using them for quite a while now. Wendy and Carl are brilliant. Nothing too much trouble and very reliable :91_thumbsup:

Just might be a bit of a trek for them to Brundall, but well worth giving them a bell. Highly recommended.

No Fred, that was Lightnings sister ship Thunder.

We did it slightly differently when Les joined us for the second week. We met him at Ranworth and left his car there.

When we got back to Brundall we just picked his car up using ours. It was also handy having his car oop north for a trip to Tesco :)

Tom Fuller do all our pickups from Brundall as they are based locally
