Hi all just logging in to say hello,

We've been coming to the broads for over 30 years now, seen lots if changes in that time, so good some not so good

We try to keep in touch with what's happening in the area,

Always come down for 3 rivers race , and down for end of year for walks and bird watching around martham broard & summerton to winterton deans,

Had some great times with family on hire & our own boats as well as cottages,  just had a great week sailing on twilight from martham,

Just a grumble couldn't understand why bins took away for both boat & public use would be good to here your answers

Welcome and how long have you got? There are quite a few threads over the last couple of years concerning bins (or the lack of!). To cut a very long story short, boat waste is treated as commercial waste. That was an excuse to allow local councils to remove bins and save money. If you are on a hire boat, you are able to use the bin at any hire yard. If you are a private boater - tough, you have to keep it with you until you do find a proper waste collection bin like Reedham, Ranworth or the Yacht Stations to name a few. Hope that explains a very sorry state of affairs.
