Ohhh, that Bass qualifier reel would make a lovely tool coupled with an IGFA 12lb class rod for some light line Tope angling, loads of ratios to choose from and it's very pretty too, thanks for that Barry

Exatly Dave there's the sport in it, I was thinking of dacron which would allow about 160yds of line and put you in better contact with the fish. Light line fishing is something really special and I really enjoyed a couple of seasons Blue Shark fishing a few years back with 15lb IGFA kit. I t would probably be a bit difficult though far from inpossible to do that in the southern North Sea but there are plenty of Tope around.
