Guest DAYTONA-BILL
I bet Tazman recognises this old girl?. Eden Bridge is surprisingly well fitted for a lady of mature years.
Guest DAYTONA-BILL
Friday evening, and we`re all sad to be packing up ready for tomorrow. Tower Bridge all tied up snug and secure at base. I hope the people after us look after her as we did, as although she could be improved in many ways, she ran faultlessly all week and kept us warm and dry in some of the wettest weather we`ve evr had on the Broads. Guest DAYTONA-BILL
I only took one shot of the inside, and that was of the new galley, and a very spacious one at that. Many boats much larger than these designs have galleys of only half the size. That`s what happens when you try to cram too many bums in berths. Guest DAYTONA-BILL
When arriving back at base, i noticed this absolute stunner, so with the owners permission, i took a couple of snaps.
Guest DAYTONA-BILL
She is absolutely immaculate, even the mooring ropes are spotlessly clean
goodall_m1
I bet Tazman recognises this old girl?. Eden Bridge is surprisingly well fitted for a lady of mature years. Bridgecraft have a fairly old fleet but do seem to look after them well. And yes Eden Bridge served us well for the last two years, but was already booked up when we looked for this year so we will be on Fair Freedom next week. I'm glad to see you had an easier final moor-up than we did last year. Getting Eden Bridge in with the ebb running and a force 7 blowing was not easy! (I finally went in Bows-in, and then roped her round) Some good shots there Neil, given the weather that you had. Martin
Guest DAYTONA-BILL
Hi Martin, yes, the weather was awful at times, but we still enjoyed ourselves. We`ve been on the Broads in late October during the ninties due to school holidays for my nieces, and wehad far better weather then, but chilly in the evnings. No matter what the weather is, we`ll always prefer to be on a boat on the Broads, than stuck at work. Regards ............... Neil.
