Like it.When we move in back in 1997.What is the fire now was not there. One day Marina and I knew at one time there would have been a fire place,so we one afternoon got a hammer and knocked out the area where a fire place would be.We then got this fire place a 're pro dated roughly late 1800s,early 1900s.Our house dates from 1901.We still have two other fire places in Nicola's and Alan's bedrooms. We also have other bits and bobs dating from when the house was built.

Yes absolutely lovely for the folk in the house looking at the fire but when you live next door and all that smoke is blowing your way I can assure you that it is anything but lovely.    Thank goodness that our immediate neighbours now have got rid of their open fires.

Good god -  our heating has been going for weeks now , yes heated radiator the lot but we do live facing Siberia on the East Coast.   Always an overcoat colder up here.
