Hi Howard,
If you see her in, and you can stop at Brooms, you`re more than welcome to ask Brooms if you can have a look on board Lightning. They always have a key and will show prospective share owners (hint hint lol) around.

And how much do they charge for showing somebody around?

Can I be nosy.    The home next to where the little boat is moored ,  in the front garden there seems to be a little house, rather like a hedgehog house or do my eyes deceive me.

Hi Matt, I don't think they do, because when I looked at Thunder some years ago, they just showed me onboard. They didn't make any official arrangements etc.

Hylander, I think you will find it is a dinghy it used to float just under the surface.

Lovely riverside bungalow, do you rent it out as a holiday let?.  The reason i ask is because Karen and have often walked down the road and seen them, and have given serious consideration to having 2 weeks on the Broads, one week aboard Lightning, then the second week in a cottage or riverside chalet / bungalow.

If you do let it, who through, do you do it privately, or through an agent, if so which one, and what`s the name of it?.

Yes also interested as we have given up boating but certainly not given up on our beloved Broads.

The little boat seems to have disappeared from the web cam picture.

The webcam is down at the moment and has been for a couple of days or so. Hopefully they will be able to get it fixed soon, as i still have`nt seen Lightning leaving / returning her mooring.

Having said that, i have`nt checked it this morning yet.

Have you found this WiFi connection yet Simondo.    This was such a fantastic web cam picture, clear and in real time.    I for one do miss looking at this lovely stretch of river.

Thanks it will be back in a week or so. It should have been back last week but my daughter isn't very techy and flicked the wrong switch 😃

At least she knew to flick a switch which would be more than could be said for me.    Looking forward to the web cam coming back.
