Saline Barrier

Recommended Posts

Another email received today (just in case anyone is trying to get in or out!)

Saline Barrier at Potter Heigham

This email is to notify you that the saline barrier at the entrance to Herbert Woods boatyard will remain closed until Friday 11 January.

The high tides of recent days are taking longer to drain out to sea than usual, so salt concentrations remain high within the river system.

Kind Regards,

Norfolk Land & Water team.

H.W's once had to get two Jewels outside the barrier two days before we arrived for us to commence the start to another Lads Week.  Lucky for us their fingers were on the pulse that weekend,

Griff

Sorry Marshman, I can't agree with you there. I'm sorry but I feel you are far too fast to blame the BA for anything and everything that goes wrong in Norfolk.

I've always popped my head into reception and asked if I'm ok to moor up there and they've never charged me a fee, looks like that may now be changing.

Still I like the quiet moorings at Potter Heigham, it's a great spot for watching the swans and ducks being fed over the side of the boat :default_smiley-angelic002:

£4 for an hour, not enough time to have a rummage through Latham’s and then visit Bridgestones!

Sadly, these days the "Riff raff" are the only ones who can afford those prices!  :default_gbxhmm:   :default_icon_twisted:   :default_hiding:
