Very soon then there will be nothing left to anticipate! (Except trips to the Broads - nothing can change that. I don’t include you in that Peter, you’ll have to find something else to anticipate.)

They could be closed all year round for me Peter, the same goes for fishing.

Are you sure?

It wouldn't bother me directly if everyone stopped fishing, but looking at the large fraction of boats I saw with people fishing from them, I don't think it would be terribly helpful to the hire boat industry.

What was the point of the exercise when 48% voted for a closed season and 49.8% voted to scrap it with 2.2% don't knows etc.

What percentage did they want for them to scrap the closed season - 100.

Bit like the remainers with Brexit.

well i suppose unlike that other vote, with the vote so close they chose to retain the status quo and not change anything. (and thats as close as i am daring to get on politics).
