Short Break On The Broads

Just packing for next weeks break on San Domingo. Fifty five years married and still don't understand why women have to take so many clothes on holiday, anyone would think we were going for a year. In the animal kingdom the males are the showy ones why do humans have to be different

It is because women always try and anticipate what might be needed for what occasion and for what weather. We’re sensible creatures like that.

It is a little unpredictable at this time of year but glad to say that so far the forecast is looking fairly decent for the week ahead ... or at least the part of it when we'll be afloat. Layers are usually the key ... just in case!!

I kind of like it when the weather isn't good overnight, rain on the roof, boat rocking in the wind... best night's sleep I ever get.
