splicing

Hi

as you all i am a water virgin, i need to learn to splice ropes, lines etc, i was wondering if there were any books/sires anyone could recommend.

Another question

how di i know how long the fenders ropes should be?

i appreciate any help at the mo

Maybe everyone already knows, but just in case, don't forget to get one of these.

It makes a neat job so much easier. Less than a fiver, from most Chandlers. :)

Now come on Jill, do you honestly think I could sit in front of the telly doing some crocheting. What's my wife going to think, it wouldn't be long before she'd have me doing all the housework as well. lol
