Flying Fish heads for the Fastnet

Warp (David) and Jessica are talking part in the 260 m RORC Myth of Malham Race from Cowes to the Eddystone and back. This is a qualifier for the Fastnet so I hope all goes well. 

Marine Traffic is showing them in Cowes at present, they start in the morning I believe.

Flying Fish sports a logo by our very own Timbo.

They are pretty much mid fleet at present and headed for Portland Bill.

The winds are light and there is a lot of tacking about in Weymouth Bay going on.

Looks like they are about 5nm off the Eddystone Lighthouse. I am following the race with Marine Tracker

They suffered a spinnaker wrap after Start Point somewhere and had to send someone up the mast to free it, it took several hours apparently! 

They got back to Cowes at about 4am so did their miles.

its the North Sea Race next weekend, so i willbe tracking that from Sat 10 am Harwich I believe.

Flying Fish now back on passage to Chatham.
