Norwich Peregrine Webcam

Recommended Posts

Just looked at the Cathedral Peregrine webcam.

The three chicks are growing fast and their white fluffy feathers are being replaced by their natural darker feathers at the moment they are active and no doubt awaiting their feed.

Regards

Alan

The bath Peregrines have all fledged successfully (Well nearly) The first one to fledge, did so accidently, not badly injured but is being cared for and should be returned to the nesting box soon. The other 3 are doing well and can be seen out and about on the roof tops.

Interestingly there is no blog post from yesterday!!!  Why is it that they are happy to tell you the good news - but not the bad?

Its ok - we can accept the bad news you know! That happens in real life too.

Picked up this update from the Trust's Facebook page.

Breaking news from Norwich Peregrines! Chick YS fledged from the nest today assisted by the wind she managed to spread her wings and land on the bell tower in a controlled way. She is fine and the adults will continue to bring her food.

Down to one chick left in the nesting box this morning, one of the adult birds flew in with pray and starting feeding the chick.

It was sat on the edge of the nesting box my guess it will not be long before the last bird has fledged.

Alan
