Hull Polishing

Recommended Posts

Kiki has just about finished her short lift out.

Anti Fouled, new Anodes fitted (supervisions and modifications courtesy of David Antares _9) and hull polish.

I am sure there are many product recommendations but here is what I used.

I washed her with Halfords wash wax & shine a handle canister system that allow a Hozlock connector hose to be connected.

Oxidisation and fender scuffs removed with 3M fibreglass restorer and wax.

Two coats of Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine Wax

And a final seal with Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection

Others may have their own favorites but this has worked for me.

See photo of Kiki - spots on Kiki's bow are the reflection of the flash on the polished hull :trophy

Jonny lift out and Anti Foul courtesy or Goodchilds clean & polish and products courtesy of myself over the last two weekends. All products can be bought from Halfords. If you are able to get to the Broads Mon-Fri Aquafax in Wroxham take some beating for Anodes.

To be fair it only took 1.5 days I could have done with a few extra hours on Saturday pm after the sealer but David dangled a prospect of a pint or to in the Fisherman's cheers so off I went.

Ian & Liz (Palmtree) arrived and by the time I though about polishing again it was dark ;)
