As with any garden reasonable precautions have to be taken, e.g. no trip hazards and no broken glass or barbed wire on top of walls and fences. Landmines and gin traps are also questionable. Not so long ago the owners of a riverside property near Acle was instructed to remove a bankside fence so that in an emergency people could moor and land and also that the rescue services could access a casualty.
