New Fish Restaurant

Poppy

Recommended Posts

Many will Know that the White Swan pub by the GY yacht station is a pub no more. However it has been open as an exceptionally good wet and smoked fish and seafood shop foe a few months now. ( I can especially reccomend the kippers !)

Well I am pleased to report that they will be opening a fish restaurant (eves. only) On 22nd of November.

I shall report in due course.

No more bike exhausts smoking' there on a Friday eve now then, just the herring! I'm sure fish and chips could draw a few punters of the two wheeled variety in though. I hope it thrives given proximity to the yacht station, nice attraction for tourists come the season.

Must be my eyes!! I first read that as "run of the milf" and did wonder where you might like to eat!!!

or even what!

I have to admit to never having been in the White Swan. Stops in Great Yarmouth have been few and far between and when our timetable did require one then the Suspension Bridge was always the pub of choice. Been a few years though.

Well, we went last night - what a great place. Lovely decor with a 'nautical ' theme and splendid friendly and helpful staff. Great food too !  Not cheap - but we were celebrating (55 years since we met and became an item) and therefore 'pushed the boat out' as it were.

We shall return.
