Brian
Is it the entrance to SOuth Walsham Broad ? Looks lovely
Guest
No Brian, not South Walsham. Bruce
kfurbank
Would that be the Waveney somewhere near WRC, Aldeby or Worlingham?
Guest
No, not the Waveney - I see the resemblance though. Clue - Brian's guess was in the right half of the Broads (I can see why you thought it might be Fleet Dyke Brian). Bruce
Brian
THose trees in the background, had me convinced.
Guest
No, neither of those Dave. Another clue - it's a river or dyke (not saying which!), not a broad. Bruce
Guest
Would it be between Thurn dyke and Womack Dyke looking towards Potter??
Guest
Spot on Paul - it takes a photographer to know the best locations! For the benefit of others, it's on the Ludham side of the river near Cold Harbour Farm. Bruce
Guest
The Poplar trees did it for me..... Fantastic shot.. Love the way the water lays. Well done.
Guest
Thanks Paul. It was actually my first shot after I changed to 5x4, 2 years ago, so it was probably more luck than judgment that I managed to get the plane of focus right. Scary learning curve for a lovely Boxing Day dawn in one of my favourite locations. Bruce

Guest
With that comment ref. 5x4 do I take it then that you do not use digital (yet lol ) ? No, I use lots of formats - 5x4, Nikon D2X, Hassleblad X-Pan, and occasionally my Pentax 67 still gets an airing - but almost all my landscapes are on 5x4 except for some quick and dirty shots for stock libraries.
