I was told that they are built by Silverline Marine.

I read somewhere that Barnes had a couple of their 2 berth Encore class built by Silverline, but when we were aboard Norfolk Lady for a week last November, we were heading for Breydon and  were passed by a Silverline boat towing a new hull for a Heritage 35 back to their yard.  Maybe the hulls are moulded in or around Wroxham and the fit out is completed elsewhere.

NYA suggest the builders are English Harbour Yachts - although I am not convinced!!!

I thought that when someone put a post on faceache, i thought the Heritage boats were designed on a traditional style launch, maybe i`m confusing them with something else?.

The Heritage 286 that NYA had advertised was indeed one of the first 286's that were indeed built by English Harbour Yachts (Got builders certificate to prove that).  There were a few that were fitted out by Brooms and also Silverline too.  However now it may well be Barnes own builders that would fit it out if your ordered a new one as with the 39 & 35's.
