Floating Bathtub...

Hi All

Looking to buy a what seems to be referred to here as a floating bathtub! 

Bahama 42

Buccaneer 44

Carribean Major

I want one as a restoration project, preferably still floating! 

Been looking (online) but nothing around that I can see.

Any one know if there is a 'best' place to look?

quite often the hire yards have a few for sale at the end of season, other than that keep your eyes open on the various brokerages around the area. I presume you are thinking of the fibreglass hulled boats, all at a single level, quite often with a forward well deck and a shape reminiscent of a  bath tub.

Yes.  Looking to make into a liveaboard for me and my dog and visits from my grand children.

I don't need lots of beds but want space.  Hired a narrow boat for a week many years ago... couldn't live on one.

Don't want centre cockpit due to height.

Not yet.  Thinking of bringing a boat inland (Northampton) to be close to the grand children.  This style of boat has the low air draught which ( I hope ) will make it practical.

You won't be able to join the canal system there as the northampton arm is narrowbeam.
