summer craft

hi guys. dont seem to be able to log on to summer crafts web site for the last week or so, anyone else tried or is it just me did notice last time i was on the site their wasnt many if any current updates. enjoyed all the pictures sue and brian posted last year anyone got any info or have they closed it down?

Hi Andy

I think a lady called Pam seemed to run the website for them... they are on facebook as well I think so you might be able to contact them that way to see whats happened to the site.

Hopefully its just a small technical issue & it'll be back soon. It was quite a good site for photos of the boats etc, but I think the problem with the websites that have more of a blog or forum feel to them is unless someone is really comitted to regularly updating pictures & information they become a bit ineffective or uninteresting if updates are few & far between. I guess there is always so much to do this is perhaps inevitable. It's a great idea, especially for a small business with a loyal, regular and very personal customer base but I've not seen the theory applied successfully yet over a long term if I'm honest.

I used to enjoy the updates and I agree with dan about the website content. The Royall's website has an excellent blog which is updated every couple of weeks.
