Reed Beds

hi

bear with me i am a newbee when it comes to boating

planing to leave sutton staithe tomorrow

with all this wind blowing can you go into reed beds and moor in there

as i am concerned about falling tree branches along the banks

i have a 15ft day boat style boat, thanks

Welcome  to the forum.The trick is to moor up as safe as possible. Many people  wild moor.You need to check for anything under the service that may damage  your boat,be that large stones big tree roots etc.my advice is take extra care on the southern broads  where it's more tidal.
