Southampton Boat Show.

2019 was actually slightly larger than 2018, this year was only a mini show about a quarter of the size.  They are limited with the amount of land available and won't have any more until the site is redeveloped.  This came to a standstill before Coronavirus so not sure what they are planning longer term.  Not surprised it was cancelled after the recent developments, we were not exhibiting this year although I was going to pop down for a couple of days.

"‘At 6.34pm on Thursday 10 September, on the eve of opening day, British Marine received the devastating news from Southampton City Council that the show could no longer go ahead due to the rising risk of COVID-19 and growing Government fears."

This show was long in the plannning.  Typcal of a Council. S'ampton deserve to lose the show, which is worth a significant sum to the city, in future years.
