More Covid Restrictions Announced.

As I've just herd on TV that Pubs must shut Down by 10 pm so that won't be good News for Pubs / Restaurants around the Broads that are all ready struggling as this I suppose this will spoil things for the Ladd's week in October

This is currently just in the north east of England, Andrew and not in Norfolk.

This came in for up here in the North East from one minute past midnight this morning

New restrictions in North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire just flashed on the news. Measures to come into force on Tuesday.

Seems just local areas at the moment so not Norfolk and (touch wood) not here in the land of ferrets. 

But the Govt are keeping their options open and anything is possible apart from schools. 

However Johnson seems keen we should have Christmas so fingers crossed.

They are thinking about a short sharp shock lockdown around the half term in October for two weeks.

Won't include workplaces and certain types of hospitality. (Blackpool, certain hotels, some pubs and restaurants) may well be you have to stay in your area but who knows and who will obey it now?

I will because I do what I’m told by the government where this virus is concerned in the hope they know what they are doing. Laughable I know but, if everyone goes along doing their own thing and ignoring guidelines, instructions and advice, we don’t stand a chance.

All I want is simple, I want to be treated for problems  concerning my health. If we have a lockdown in my area.I worry if it has a impact on my health.

They did say on the local news this evening that Norfolk is now off the Government’s watch list.

Worrying thought. In the previous lockdown my local hospitals restricted themselves to emergency and crucial operations. However, a lot has been learned so perhaps there will be less interruption to routine operations this time around.

I hope so.I have a follow up scan booked for the 28 September. Depending  on results. They will decide  treatment. Last thing I and many others with serious conditions other then Covad need is a lockdown.

Good luck with your scan. 

Followed by Scanxiety.  That dreadful wait for the result, takes for ages. 

However. Never ever forget that it is not one man or one individual that determines your destiny but a team. A team of dedicated professionals comprising of surgeon's,  anetheiatsis, nurses, doctors, specialist's who meet daily,weekly, to discuss and action on your particular problem. 

Why do I know this. It is because I have been there. 

I have also been privilaged to have been asked to address year three trainee doctors of my experience as a patient on more than one occasion in a training theatre.

Be positive mate. I have been there, done that. And so will you.
