Nbn Christmas Cards & Calendars

Has anyone ever thought about selling Broads themed Christmas cards and calendars to help boost funds?

There was always calendars  but stopped about two years ago.

Forum members supplied photos for the calendar. It does take a lot of work and organisation and it may already be too late to do it this year.

Yeah, it does and it kind of is. Calendars should be wrapped up by July really in order to get a good sales run.

Oh well, it was just an idea. Christmas cards would be nice too. Perhaps someone will take it on for next year. Hope so.

If we had a car I’d be more than happy to help but without one I don’t know what use I could be.

Not NBN but the Broads  society and Norfolk  wildlife  trust do cards and calendars. Also RNLI so to I think Hemsby  inshore  Rescue.

I’ve given your post a ‘like’ CC but I have to admit that I’m not sure how such e-thingies work!

I really don’t like e-cards. I also know that people think they are more eco friendly but if I receive a card I want to be able to display it. My grandchildren love opening their cards and if it’s personally signed it makes it more special.

With all the bother and costs of driving, parking, walking, selecting, queing to pay, walking, driving, writing, buying stamps and walking to post cards all for a few days or as with birthdays it`s all for one day then 

Bah Humbug to it all!

Perhaps a competition could be organised for next year asking members to submit one Broads related Christmassy photo and the winning 5 could be used for the front of the cards. I’d be only too happy to try to organise the printing.
