Well, after missing most of the first half of last weeks quiz due to celebrating John's birthday with the family, I still managed to win Polly's excellent offering. Having thought long and hard over the last few days I have chosen the following topics for this Friday's entertainment.

This evening's quiz has been cancelled due to lack of numbers. We have agreed that we will give it a miss next Friday as a number of us are likely to be away, so my quiz will now take place on Friday 23rd July. I will post a reminder nearer the time and let you know if anything changes.

We had a good turnout last night and the eventual winner and our next QM was Bern with Polly and NikO in joint second place and Not_Dead_Yet in third.  Due to boating and family holiday committments our next quiz will be in 2 weeks time on Friday 6th August.

I'll be back tomorrow, after being away in Scotland for 2 Fridays at the end of June, being available for the 2 weeks there wasn't a quiz, and being at wedding parties the last 2 Fridays!
