CAN SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE WHY i CAN'T lOG IN USING MY LAPTOP?

I use the same username and password and get told ive tried too many

times! So, Ask for password to be sent which goes on this comp , try it

on the laptop and same thing happens!!

Using this comp, I still log in using the old password etc.

WHAT am I doing wrong? Leaving for the boat early in the morning and

wish to use the laptop while there so very frustrated!

I've a similar problem in that my laptop won't remember my name but when I type in "Hockham Admiral" it immediately comes up with the password.....

Just this one but earlier this morning I used my laptop and it logged on automatically.. however I did use I/E rather than the usual Firefox.

Have you made sure cookies are enabled for this site in Firefox?

I recently had problems with Google Map, simply wouldn't load any maps. Turned out that cookies had become disabled on that site. I don't know how it happened but once I'd re-enabled them it was all hunky-dory.

Hi John,

Right-click anywhere on the page, select 'View Page Info' from the pop-up menu, select 'Permissions' in the info window and see if the 'Set Cookies' box is checked for 'Use Default'.

Ok I'm back from the hols and still can't get on here with the laptop.

I'm using IE8 i think....with W7.

Can someone in admin please pm me the password I'm using on here?

I think I'm using the same one but need to double check! Unfortunately

I always put in remember password on new sites and then I forget what

it was!! Doh.

Ok this is the last time!!

I've tried sending PM's to admin and they just end up in the outbox

and no-one has come forward to help, so, after this post if I don't

get help to sort it out, I'm off here!!

Sounds harsh but am now pretty fed up with it.

I've had no PM notification and neither has Jonzo, unfortunately as a security measure we have no access to your password, we can however reset it and email you with a new one that you can change after logging on if you like but the likelyhood is the issue is with you laptop setting as you can clearly log in from elsewhere.

Incidently, the Yarmouth times are not too kind unless you get up

really early or finish cruising late! Thursday seem the day we will

make our way down. And, I will have the laptop with me!!

Ok. Here is the news..... I'M ON THE LAPTOP!

Thanks guys for all the help and we got there in the end.

Now I can keep up to date when I'm on the boat which will be

quite a lot this year as I retired early at Christmas.

We've just decide we'll be arriving on Thursday too; so it will be good to meet up.

But we're only coming from Geldeston............ so we might get there a bit before you!

PS it's daylight by 4am and the slack water time at GH will be 06.23 (it's LW+1.30, not +1.00); so plenty of time from Acle?

You mind you don't over do it John 3/4hr cruise...good heavens..

We are planning to overnight at Somerleyton as it'll be around 20.30hrs by

then and it will have been a long day, what with the drive down to Wroxham

(2 1/4hrs) and the cruise down, (about 8hrs), I'll be ready for a nap!

We will be in Beccles around 10.30ish Friday morning.

Laptop already packed!

PS. Hope the posts are up and running by then! Don't want to have to run the

engine up to keep the batteries charged and I'm sure i'll not be the only one.

Last posting tomorrow as leaving here Wednesday mid afternoon.
