Have been there several times over the last few years. Hollocks really does not help himself, the site is a shambles. If he really wants to provide accommodation then tart up the numerous rooms within the building itself. I suspect that flooding might be an issue otherwise something on the lines of the Waveney River Centre could be a way forward. It could be so many things, a wedding or conference centre for example, like the Ivy Farm at Oulton Broad. Whatever, it needs both imagination and QUALITY.

Unfortunately there are those who adopt the asset stripper principle - invest the minimum and rake in the maximum!

So what is the situation  with the pub now.Last time we went past,which was last October. They were painting the outside walls blue and putting in what looked like french windows.Have noticed  the caravans for a few years.

It would be very interesting to know what's going on. Maybe getting ready to turn it into a private house, I suspect that's the long term aim????

There was one caravan there back in 2009 so maybe hoping it would set a precedent!!

The BA papers clearly show the lengths the officers have gone to over several years to resolve this.
