Very beautiful, but I don’t fancy trying to get all the finger marks off the polished woodwork!!  But the craftsmanship in the build . . . . . . . . awesome.

The finest builders of wooden boats bar none imho. Their sailing boats are even prettier. I was in Ipswich when they launched a huge one, not sure by how much they cleared the Orwell bridge but itwas not alot. Absolutely worldclass and made in Suffolk.

I loved the Spirit yacht they took up The Grand Canal in the Bond movie, now that had proper stuff like masts and sails.

The quality of the varnishing is very good, but it's not really that pretty and the interior looks very dark.

this little 1953 classic will do me. Has a proper steel hull, oozes charm, pretty as a picture and yours for £285k, that's about four and a half million change from the Spirit.

Just thumbed through my 56 Yachting World Annual and your example is typical of what was pictured for the Pavillon D’Or. The Spirit’ build is definitely quality workmanship and finish but to my mind trying to appeal to a different marketplace than reproduction of classic designs perse.
