Would You Come On A Boating Holiday If The Pubs Are Closed?

Seriously I love cruising and being on the Broads. But I'd be like a lost sheep. I never drink on a boat. I'd moor up and be looking for the pub. I enjoy walking so would probably do that. I'd still find it very difficult.

We are booked with Bridgecraft in May. The holiday may be in the balance anyway but Johnson and his crew have certainly got it in for the pubs so I'm not holding out much hope. :default_icon_cry:

Yes, desperate to get back to the Broads. We rarely go to pubs locally  anyway, so though we enjoy eating out at various Broads pubs, not being able to visit pubs isn’t that high on our priority list. We’re just wanting some cruising time.

I'd go if everything was closed! Just a change of scenery would be great - and Broads have a great scenery! The wife had to isolate because of a positive test from a colleague - the last 10 days have been DULL...

yes, even if i had to bring all my food for the week, and avoid everyone else I would be there in a heartbeat.

I do that anyway.     Each to his own.   I am sure the pubs will re-open when safe to do so.    I can sympathise with Howard as he does love to visit the pubs around the Broads.    Darn Virus.

We are due to pick up a hire boat on the Thames on good Friday. I would prefer not to be able to go if the pubs are going to be shut.

For us visiting pubs waterside and not is part of our holiday. As much as we like being on the water on the boats we also want to enjoy the towns and villages that we pass through and for us that includes the pubs.

Honestly I would rather Boris didn't open holiday accommodation for Easter if the pubs can't also be open.
