JanetAnne
This year's Beccles Wooden Boat Show is on the 14th August 2021 at Beccles Yacht Station. Leading up to the show are the following events... 11th August - Meet up at Stracey Arms for an evening bar-be-que 12th August - Cruise in convoy from Stracey down to Gt Yarmouth then across Breydon and along the Waveney to Oulton Broad Yacht Station arriving mid afternoon 12th August evening - Garden party 13th August - Cruise in convoy from Oulton Broad to Beccles arriving about 14:00 14th August - SHOW DAY! Lots of spit and polish and oodles of varnish on display 14th August evening - Bring and share evening. (Every boat brings a plate of food to the marquee and we all share) 15th August - Rest day and Beccles Boat Jumble. Then sleep.... lots of sleep! The event has it's own block booked reserved moorings at Stracey, Oulton Broad and Beccles but all three venues have plenty of other mooring space for else anyone wanting to come for a look see. This year's event will attract 20+ boats at Stracey, 25 on Oulton Broad and between 30 and 40 boats (40 is our limit) at Beccles for showday. There will be a proper event thread on the NBN nearer the time. 6
