We were having to de-fur the kettle every couple of days until, around 20 years ago, we started using a Brita Water Filter. Not de-scaled the kettle at home since. ExSurveyor Posted May 11, 2021 Share Posted May 11, 2021 We use one of those little wire ball things they sell in Lathams on the boat and at home. We also use a brita water filter onboard, it makes a big difference.
