There'e a film on the above channel at the moment, a lot of it seems to be on the Broads. Just seen the Pleasure Boat dyke at Hickling.

TPTV do show that film quite a lot so it will definitely be on again.

Made in 1953 and classed as a light comedy. Very predictable but a must for Broads fans with scenes around Hickling and Ludham. Starred John Gregson and a host of recognisable actors from the era. There must have been a lot of boatmen used as extras and I have been told Herbert Woods got in on the act but I've never spotted him. Whispering Reeds yard is seen (then Puggin's) which is twice they have appeared on film, the second being the horror film (both in content and production) The Reeds of 2010.
