Looking For A Mooring (brundall To Norwich).

Hi all. As per the title, we’re looking for a mooring anywhere between Brundall and Norwich (we’re in Thorpe St Andrew). I’ve tried most of the larger ones already (Bells etc), but are there any other options?

There's a few boats up for sale at wroxham marine (down griffin lane in thorpe, they started out in wroxham(sheerline yard)) so could be space there in the near future, there's no leccy but the quay edge is ok, worth having a word with the guys down there.

I can't seem to find a website for Wroxham Marine, only Sheerline for new boats ?

Same phone number, they don't have a marina website as moorings are more of a sideline.

I was thinking more for (used) boat sales, not moorings ?

Thanks - we did pop down there and I also emailed them but no reply. And no leccy has been vetoed by the Mrs!

Don't forget no one sells petrol on the Broads except I believe, Martham.

Yep, already factored that in! Looking for a mooring with decent vehicle access if possible for that reason.

Not sure you can park a private articulated petrol tanker near a mooring ?

Am sorted, found a lovely spot between the Yare View Holiday Cottages and the Ferry House courtesy of John at Willow Marine. Less than 10 minutes from my house and a cracking spot, if slightly rustic!

All I need now is the boat - arrives Thursday, all being well.

Yep, that’s the one. Lovely little spot, really pleased with it.
