Further to Notices 07 and 08 2021, notice is hereby given that the Broads Authority will be extending dredging works, from 18 November 2021 until 25 February 2022.

The site stretches along the upstream end of the River Thurne, from Hickling Broad to Somerton Staithe.

Continued navigation restrictions due to dredging works on the Upper River Thurne Further to Notices 07 and 08 2021, notice is hereby given that the Broads Authority will be extending dredging works, from 18 November 2021 until 25 February 2022. The site stretches along the upstream end of the River Thurne, from Hickling Broad grid ref TG467200 to Somerton Staithe grid ref TG436189 (shown in red on the plan extract). The maintenance works on the water will involve the use of floating pontoons and small works vessels. Note during the above period navigation will remain open, but vessels must exercise great care whilst proceeding past the vicinity of the works. Please ensure that the area is taken into consideration for passage planning and when navigating in this area. © Crown copyright [and database rights] 2019 OS 100021573.
