Well, I finally popped my Friday Night Quiz cherry, and was QM tonight ...

It was a well fought battle, with Steve coming 3rd on 6 points, Niko and Bern joint runners up with 8 points ... but the winner by one point on a score of 9 was Jean !

So next week, Jean will hopefully be QM.

A little mid-week reminder of the Friday Night Quiz.

Anyone without plans for their Friday night this week, why not come along and give the quiz a go. It's a very straightforward old-fashioned chatroom where a number of friends gather on a Friday evening around 8.30 for merriment, banter and fun ... with a few quiz questions thrown in.

Another Friday’s come round quick!

Working hard to get all jobs done; allotment, garden and house, before I set off early in the morning for more or less the rest of June on the boat. On schedule to be joining quiz at 8.30 on the dot!

2nd and 3rd were pretty much equal runners up with only 1/2 point between them, so well done to Nik, TigerHawk and a mystery competitor called JengleBills. We await your return next week JengleBills ... whoever you may be.

I will try and drop in tonight for the quiz - visitors last week prevented me from ducking out without causing offence.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will be unable to do the quiz tonight. If anyone else could step in I would be grateful. I am really sorry about this.
